    In September 2026 we read every listing at seven independent copper and brass workshops, 1,633 products, and counted what they tell a buyer and what they leave out. Each question here covers a gap we found, or something a plumber, electrician or installer needs to know. The counts are in our listings study, with the full data free to download.

    A good workshop answers these quickly and in writing. Keep the reply: it is your record if the piece arrives different from what was promised.
